I have some pond/water plants to trade for named roses, named daylilies, and unusual perennials.
NO PLANTS FOR POSTAGE.
In roses, I need reblooming roses in any color but red. (No Lady Banks--I can buy those locally.). Some climbing roses for my arbors would be great.
For perennials, I'm looking for named daylilies, named hibiscus (like Turn of the Century and White Tx Star Hib), black lace elderberry, golden elderberry, rice paper plants, red, pink, or white clematis (already have sweet autumn), corkscrew willow, variegated or black leafed plants, etc.
I'm NOT looking for tropicals or houseplants.
I'm NOT looking for cuttings; I need well-rooted plants that can go in the ground as soon as I get them.
I'm looking to do larger trades of multiple plants. I won't trade for just one or two plants.
I ship in a box by priority mail and expect the same in return.
What I have to trade are:
Parrot's Feather
Purple Pickerel
Louisiana Iris - Vin Color (fuscia)
Iris Hexagona - Blue (Louisiana Iris relative)
Creeping Jenny - great tucked into the rocks of a waterfall
Chameleon Plant (doesn't change colors much for me, maybe too dry)
If interested in trading, let me know what you'd like from me and what you have to trade.
Thank you.

Donna, I'll add the pickerel to your list. I'd love some of that variegated purple water iris. Do you have parrot's feather? If not, you really need it. It looks like green feathers. I love it.
Maybe I'll get around to dividing my water lilies. I have several colors and they've filled one pond. But I don't know if I'll dig them out this year. If I do, I'll holler at you.
I'll answer your dmail later. I've been trying to get some stuff done in the house this afternoon. Geez, we had a heat index of 119 today!! It's never been that high! My poor AC is working overtime and even the temp in the house is rising. I'm sweating just sitting here at the pc. What a crazy summer! I know you're dealing with it too!
You know, if it weren't for you and TXaggiegrl, I wouldn't have many new plants this year. I'm so grateful y'all will trade with me!
Wish I had a pond, but it will be next year before I can put in a pond. Hopefull I'll have something special to trade for pond plants than.
Ponds are wonderful, Marti! I have several and will be installing another in another month or so, when I work my way back to that garden. I love the sound of the trickling water so I'm trying to have a pond or fountain within earshot of anywhere I'm working in the garden. It's so soothing. Holler at me when you get your pond in.
Thanks! I'll keep you in mind.
