I have two turkeys and some chickens. I was wondering about putting some straw bales out for them to set on. They love to set on things like straw bales and I know for sure they will poop on the straw.
Turkey and chicken poo is great fertilizer. If take the bales away after a good covering of pooh, and let them set for several months or maybe over winter time, would they then be good to use next summer for strawbale gardening. ?

If you stopped them at some time before you were to plant, because fresh would be too strong for the plants. Otherwise, I don't know why it wouldn't work.
edited to add: Don't ask me how long is fresh, fresh. I don't know.
