I'm needed some vigours growing Climbing/Trailing Roses to cover a fence quickly as it backs a very ugly (and stinky) county pond/resevoir.

Hey, just a thought, you probably need an evergreen climbing vine like maybe Carolina Jasmine - grows fast, takes heat, smells really good in spring when flowers & will cover yearround. I have the variegated with white flowers if you want I will check to see if I can get a rooted piece or 2. There are other kinds if you want to check them out. I'm sure someone here on Daves has the yellow & there's a Jessamine (I'm not sure of the difference because they look alike to me). There is also a chocolate vine that grows fast you may like, used to have some. Check it out, Donna
