We tend to anthropomorphize our stuff like cars and computers, but nothing rates as more 'human-like' than our pets. They smile at us when happy or look abashed when they know they've done something we don't like or make it clear they are SULKING because of something WE did. LOL
I have one dog that shakes his head NO when he wants a different kind of treat than what is being offered; one that blocks the others from getting to me first when I come home, then nods his head at them "Okay, its your turn, now"; and one that grabs another's chew thinking I won't see and runs to stand next to me as if saying "Nah, nah, can't get me 'cause Mom thinks it's mine."
What do your pets do that makes them seem almost human?
What is the most "human" thing your pet does?
