I have a strawberry plant in each of two hanging baskets (surrounded with coleus and vinca vine, etc.). It's attractive and the leaves are healthy, but the berries are downright disgusting, like they've been filled quite literally with orangey-brown sawdust. I suppose it's a sort of virus or fungus and I'm off to research it, but have any of you encountered this and perhaps know what it is? Any fixes?
