strep blue ice leaves available for postage

Damascus, MD(Zone 7a)

The plant is getting very big. I thought I could share some leaves with my fellow gardeners when I repot the plant. I can take about 8 leaves from the plant. Please Dmail me if you are interested.

I have never sent/received strep leaves by mail and don't even know how to do it. I would guess that I should give the plant a good drink of water before taking the leaves and keep the leaves in wet paper towels. What kind of box should I use for mailing? I guess envelopes are not good... Any advice? Thanks.

Oh, I would love some leaves of that one, please. Bonnie, Lynn, Jan or someone will know how to send those. I think wrapping them in wet papertowels might rot them. I am not sure as I have never received or mailed leaves out either but I think they can go like A.V. leaves but putting them in a baggie with nothing else. The can be put in a solo cup of damp perlite.

just wrap in end in wet toliet paper, put in a plastic bag, then ypu can use a padded envelope or a small box for shipping.Thats what i have used before.

Awesome, Bonnie! Now I know. I was afraid the wet papertowel would rot the ends. Glad you posted :)
