Hi there ... hope someone can confirm this pretty one for me. There were a couple of these birds perched in the Black Cherry tree this morning ... at first I thought maybe it was an immature/juvenile European Starling, but I'm not sure, and would love to know the identity of this one.
Thanks!

Yep, Starling, juvenile (brown feathering) moulting to adult winter (black with white spots) plumage.

Thanks so much Resin! I wasn't at all sure of it's identity and it really is a pretty young bird! Winter is a long way away for my part of Florida (five or six months. Maybe this little one is preparing to head a bit farther north, LOL.
Thanks again for your help here on this forum ... it's great to know that we have such knowledgeable people to aid in identification!
