Flower size

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

Well.. again I can't find the tag..I must have had it at some point... as the brug is planted in the photogenic front corner spot... giving the most interesting background to the eventual photos.. although this spot is buffeted with the strongest winds.. a good spot... clear of other plantings and in full day long sun.. so I knew what it was ... or what it was showed the greatest interest .. when it was planted there..
I'll dig arooung there and see if it didn't get misplaced...
Anyway the reason for this is the most unusual size for this brug... it's a double brug... that displays stuffed rather than descending.. and is for any I've ever seen a very small flower..
The plant it's self is about 4' - 5 ' tall... ..,,

The leaves on it are smallish and sparcer ... much like the others that are grown in the front high wind places.. so it likely has less
bearing on the plant it's self but it is they way they are.. growing windy.....
this one had maybe 6- 8 flowers open before they were small then but i wrote it off to it's being it's first flush and also the first flowering of the it's been well fed and watered.. but this second flush has the tiny flowers also...
length of this tiny double white is 5" to the top

here's the cutest view ... where the size really is so obviously smaller... only about 2" wide.. after being open over a day..

the other flower is slightly larger.. with the tendrals sticking out 1/2 " on each side..
Who might this one be... It's looking like a White Bambino

Oh Gordon, I hope you find the tag to that gorgeous little flowered Brug. Sometimes it's difficult to tell from a photo what the true color is. It looks slightly yellow. Is it? How is the fragrance?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Both of those are nice, Gordon, I really like the little petite double.
Your cross is lovely too. I bet it smells like heaven at night there..

yes.. Debra.. when the wind has slacked off some .. with the night blooming jasmine blooming strong.. and 4 brugs blooming.. it's starting to smell wonderful... when a few dozen brugs are open together.. with a few dozen on each .. in such a small space.. it will be over powering...
oh Veronica.. well the tiny double is just about a pure white.. with the slightellow cast..fragrance.. let me go and check...BRB ....OK it has a light lemon scent..
like a sweet pledge
Well what a surprise.. more are blooming.. and the fragrance winner tonight is. drum... rolling
Serendipity X Taylor Dawn.. a seedling cross by Gary a lovely small single white.. with the lightest hint of lilac throughout..
Maya is starting again.. opening the first few flowers.. of I bet.. more than 80 buds.. on a 5' plant..stuffed with leaves and flowers.. it's such the best of breed.. it's planted as a centerpiece here....
