need help for a little nipper

I've taken in a 6 yo female shih tzu that has never had much discipline. For the most part, with lots of praise, she has shown great improvement. One behavior I can't get a handle on, she really wants to nip ankles when people come to the door. Once she calms down she goes about her business, it's just when people first come that she gets aggressive. Suggestions, anyone?
