Just general stuff, since these are open to a whole lot of people. LOL!

I am retired as of 2008, just DH (dear husband) and I with two dogs and a old cat. I garden for the butterflies now...but when first coming to DG in 2005 it was to look up some plants I was having problems with. Right away I was invited to the RU in Arlington. That is "round up" where we meet, eat, and swap plants. They are active down your way also. After that first RU....I was hooked. Since that time I have met so many people all over TX and feel like I know many more all across the US and beyond. I have put in a whold yard full of flower beds most are from plants I have gotten from other members. The gardeners that come to the swaps are most generous and just plain great people.

Well the knowledge is all from the DG family, mainly Frostweed. I don't read books very much, but I will read blogs on a computer! LOL!
