If your talking about shipping, no it's not to hot. I have had strrps shipped to me a week ago when it was real hot & they were just fine. so let me know.

I told Lynn that I was going to wait until it gets cooler to start them back up. I am so glad to hear that I wasn't the only one that this happened to and maybe it wasn't the heat but thought it was. If we can just figure out what happened to everyone's LOL!!! If you think they will be okay, please d-mail me and tell me what I owe you. I can send it out tomorrow. I love those streps and I just hate I lost them :( They were doing soooo good too!!!!

As far as growing the streps, i do think that warmer temps is what does them in, at least it did for me a few years ago.I since then put in a small air conditioner in my plant room & don't lose them anymore due to heat.At least if you don't have to pay for the indiv. plant it;s not that bad, even thou we all hate to lose the plants.Anyway. i have several duplicates in all different sizes, so send me your name & address so i don't have to go looking for it. lolI will ship tommorro.

I have since moved all my gessies in front of my southern exposed windows with sheers (our climates are pretty much the same) and shut off those lights. The difference in temps. is amazing. DH was supposed to run duct work but hasn't been able to due to his surgery. We had already decided before I lost the streps that we wanted to get it done this fall and if he still couldn't, we would hire someone. We were thinking of the cold and not heat LOL. The other plants seem to be fine.

I would love to get some too! for some reason Black Ace leaves still hesitant about getting babies... And now -- what a nice surprise: I could get my first strep plant, couldn't I?....
I would love to have a few different ones, or even just some leaves. I only have a few different ones right now.

Thank you so much for all the leaves you sent me. I had fun potting them this afternoon and I was able to cut them and make up extra pots for a friend.
You certainly sent some very interesting ones and I am looking forward to watching them grow:) Pat
