Pet food for the animals and people affected by BP

Since one of the products that we use is Science Diet by Hills, I wrote them a letter asking for their help for the folk who are having to make the decision to give up their pets as they cannot afford to feed them.
I received an immediate, positive reply detailing what they are doing to help...brought tears to my eyes. I also wrote Purina..haven't heard yet.
Just thought I would drop this note, just in case anyone wants to write the companies that you use.
