Can anyone who knows explain what rust on Plumeria looks like? If you know, can you please inform me on rust removal?

Rust?
Hi Barry,
Google "rust in plants" and you will find an abundant info. regarding rust. It's a fungal infection. I've had them infected my plumerias before. I understood they happen when the humidity is high. And that they don't harm plumerias per se, but it's unsightly. So what I did, I wait until toward the end of the growing season. I cut the leaves off the plant just before I bring the plants indoor. Since the rust's orangy, dusty powder-like substances were mostly on the underside of the leaves. That irradicated the fungal infection and the following spring I was happy to have found that the plants were rejuvinated and healthy once again.
This year, thus far I've yet seen any more rust on my plumerias. ^_^
Oh, one important thing dealing with fungal infection, or any type of bacterial, viral infections and/or the like. They're persistent organisms. Be sure to bag them and dispose of them properly to prevent the spread or recurrent infection on other the plants.
