awwwww, baby Silkies are so cute. Does it have a vaulted skull? It looks like it might have a little bit of one. We hatched 4 white Silkies in March and one had a vaulted skull, it looked so funny.
oh so sweet. Looks like it is going to be a very nice one. My poor white one is so scraggly DH named him Billy Idol
As far as I can tell only one has the vaulted skull and its the partridge colored one.Hay I knew you would be happy for me and the Lord must be happy with me to..I`ll try to get pictures of the partridge one,The fireplace screen I have in there to protect them from the others is so high I can`t reach in to get them so dh has to do it.
What beautiful babies, I'm sooo happy for you!!! Can't wait to see the updated pics as they grow. Very lucky babies to live with you, ohh are they ever going to be spoiled LOL

Three of the white ones are roosters,they got moved into a batchalor pad today.The little partridge one turned out to be a girl and one of the whites,and remember Jadee the one I had in the house all by herself in the fish tank she is a girl to and I have a black one I call Smoke and she is a girl.So I have Raven my rooster that has been with me since I have had silkies so I will leave him in with the girls,he is so good to them and they like him,and the three white boys will stay in the big coop in the man cave untill spring then I will pick out the best looking one and sell the others.I`ll get some new pictures when the weather is nicer.I still have the four new babies tow buffs and two blues,won`t know there sex for a few more months.
Awwwwww! I just llove silkies ,especially the white ones. Lost all of mine last year to an over playful great Dane Pup! I will probably try again next spring for a pair. No Pup this year!
Oh thats awful.We have ours out free rangeing once in awhile with the puppy but new alone as I know she would do the same thing

Waiting on my whites to hatch Friday. if I get just 1 hen I will be very happy because that all I need to go with my white roo. Sure hope they are just pet quality and don't have the poofy do's
Porkpal I`m havinig the same problem opening pictures can you help?I get a white box with a red x in the uper left hand corner.Then some will start to show a picture then stop,and some that are smaller pictures will open all the way,I think ZZ and I are having the same problems and only on this site.6
I can see the thumbnail, but not the enlarged.. but that was yesterday! I can see them today!

I'm afraid I have no clue what the problem may be. I've never seen that sort of difficulty. And I'm not too swift with computers at best. Much of it seems akin to black magic. Sorry!

Today is the day for me and not a sign of any chicks under my broodys. I got white silkie eggs off e-bay. Yesterday they kicked one out and it was rotten
The little one does look like a pullet in the first picture. The second picture won't load for me.. but I still think the little one looks pullet. :)
