Remember the little dachs mix that showed up at our house and we finally found the owner and found out she was having pupplies, well.....she had one puppy and this is it. It took more after the father in color (the momma was black and brown). We just got it today.
Remember the little dog, here is the puppy
If it gets to be too much to take care of, let me know and I'll come out and pick her up. I'll see she gets a good home, lol. He/she is a looker, congratulations.
Cute! Does the puppy have a name yet?
What a beautiful puppy, and adorable to look at. Hay
No name yet, and Kenboy I don't think my daughter will part with her no matter what. (it's a she). She is trying to house train her and that's a job, keeps her busy and not complaining about being bored :)
Here is another picture of her awake, her eyes look red but they arn't. She is about 5-1/2 weeks old and a pudgy little thing.
Now that is one great pose. I don't blame your daughter for not wanting to share her, she is so doggone cute...Hay
0h I luv puppy breath
I am gettting a puppy in a couple weeks, she will be 8 weeks when I get her,her name is Tillee and she is 1/2 sheltie(her dad) and mom is boarder collie spaniel mix.I have had puppies in the past,I`m not looking forward to the crying at night, she will be in a crate ,gve a towel to the peaple we are getting her from to put with the others before I bring her home so she will have the sent in her crate. Will put stuffed animal in there to.Any tips on the crying thing? Your puppy is so cute.
Thanks Green, hope you don't have too much trouble with yours crying. This one did fine last night. We put it in its crate and didn't hear anything till about 5:30 this morning when she needed to "go". Then she went back in her crate and was quiet. This one is very young, only about 5-1/2 maybe 6 weeks old. My daughter is trying to house train her, she has had only one mistake and luckily it was on the tile floor.
Good luck with your puppy, maybe it will be a quiet one.
Some people use a ticking clock to pacify a lonesome puppy. It resembles the mother's heartbeat? - Or you could always get TWO puppies...
She's a doll, there's nothing like puppy breath! I think it's a good idea to get her a sister or brother LOL
no no no, we have another dog already. 10 times the size of this one, but still.
Our other dog is an outdoor only dog and she isn't quite sure what to think of this little dog yet. She generally loves other dogs so she will probably take to her well and want to play. But, she is a good 35 pounds and this one might weigh 4 pounds right now.
We went to the pet store today and got the little one toys to chew on, so funny to watch something so small play.
