I just cleared out my early peas, and the garden has a big bare patch. I was thinking about more lettuce, which seems to do well, and come up quick, but I hear it does not like to germinate now. Do I have other options?
So what's to start now for fall harvest?
I think lettuce might do fine. We are having cool mornings and the days are not all that hot. You can also plant broccoli, chard, beets, carrots.
I agree, it's so cool, lettuce should do fine. I'm going to plant some. Along with the others that Holly mentioned.
Thanks, I just got the same list from Snohomish Conservation District.
