deformed tomatoes.... why?

Is there a reason why some of my tomatoes look like this. One is an early girl the other a stokes hybrid.

This is called catfacing and is usually caused by low temperatures (below 50F) during pollination. Hop over to the tomato forum it may be in the sticky there or just use Google. The later fruits aren't usually a problem after the temps warm up.

Thanks Kim.... Its realy not too much of a problem as i have lots and lots of tomatoes. Thanks for the info... Now I know. I almost have my first red one.
