I am not a real bird watcher, just enjoy watching them eat out of my feeders and fly around my yard. I have noticed they are pretty territorial and don't generally like to share. Especially the hummers. I have a particular kind of bird which I think is a house wren that likes to drink out of my hummingbird feeder. Somehow they land on the little yellow flowers and manage to drink around the edges of it as I guess it leaks. Is this normal?

Bird question
Hi Bonnie, I think any smaller bird that has had some success feeding from the (hummer feeder) will keep trying. During the spring I had a male Baltimore Oriole that would visit my hummer feeder for a drink.
thanks, I had just never heard of that before.
Bonnie, can you get a pic of him at the hummer feeder for us? :) I'd love to see that..house wrens are so much fun to watch!
I'll give it a try. They fly off when I get near!
