I decided we needed a thread on onions similar to garlic. I'm going to be planting onions on or near 8/1 to overwinter.
My immediate question is:
I have onions from this spring in the ground. When do I harvest them?
Okay, more than one question:
Am I supposed to keep watering them or do I stop and withhold water as with garlic?
Do you treat them the same way as garlic far as drying them for storage?
