ID, please?

I am such a flake sometimes....I decided that I wanted to try Hoyas again. I've had a couple in the past, but have killed them and I think....gulp....that I'm ready to try again. So, I decided to go to Home Depot to get a quick and "easy" fix. So, I got home last night and was talking to a friend and totally flaked out - I took the tag off and threw it away without making my own tag, first. (and I have spent as much of the day digging through trash as I can stand!)

So, it's an Exotic Angel, I think it started with a 'B' - could it be H. bilobata? Can you tell from the pic, or do you need blooms to ID?

The leaves are pretty think, darkish green and felty.

I think it's a beauty! :) and plan on getting more...(*sigh* just what I need another plant obsession...)

Here is a bit of a closeup of the leaves. Sorry it's blurry, I'm terrible with closeups, though I can try again if needed. This was really just for size relationship to my hand.

DS-70 maybe?

I think you're very likely right. I looked at bilobata, DS-70 and tsangii and DS-70 appears to be the closest. Thank you!

So, does it get regular Hoya care? Bright, but not direct light, thorough water when mostly dry, occasional light feeding?

pretty much, yup.

Well, I think it looks almost exactly like the H. nummulariodes I just bought at Lowe's this weekend---the giveaway for me was the "felty" leaf description...plus the general size and shape of the leaves and plant...just my two cents worth :-)

I saw another at HD that looked almost exactly like my plant except the leaves were shiny and a bit darker. I didn't notice the labeled name (and I truly don't trust EA, anyway.) But it looked similar and I may go back and buy it, too. I have wanted to have a few....I'll be so excited if I can grow them well and have them bloom for me!!!

Definitely DS-70. not H. nummulariodes. Nummulariodes has a much stiffer, thicker leaf than the DS-70. Attached is a picture of my H. nummulariodes that has bloomed several times. Flowers on DS-70 are VERY different from H. nummulariodes.
