Just wondering what is your favorite mix for hay and what are you paying this year? My usual hay man said that his mix this year is about 50% alfalfa for the first cutting and the second has some additional clover. He is asking $3.50/bale for the first cutting, which he admitted is a bit past its prime, and $4.00 for the second cutting. Must add that he brings his own elevator and stacks the hay in the loft for me. Curious to hear how things are elsewhere. Susan
