Natalie3200 --- I saw my first hummingbird moth in late May of 2010. I was close enough to see that it wasn't a hummingbird, but I got a good enough look to go on the internet and identify it. I had never heard of it --- so was pleased to see it in my garden. It was visiting my "Wine & Roses" Weigela, but I only noticed it there twice. They are almost as hard to see as hummingbirds, so I can't imagine how you got this photo --- but, thanks for sharing it.
