Whats my chances on getting these seeds to grow?

Petaluma, CA(Zone 9a)

So I just bought five Sanguinea seeds on eBay for $8.00 (with postage), my wife thinks I'm a little crazy - but oh well. If I can get just one of these seeds to sprout, I would be happy. Are my chances of sprouting good? Any advice on getting them to sprout would be greatly appreciated - that way I can tell my wife that I am not crazy - just crazy about Brugs

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

Eight dollars for 5 B. sanguinea seeds is rather steep, but the good news, if the seed is fresh, is that sanguinea seeds sprout very easily.

Brug seeds have a corky cover. It doesn't have to be removed, but I take it off. Removing the cork, lets me know how many seeds I'm starting. It also makes it easier for the cotyledons to emerge.

Use any sterile seed starting mix, rockwool, coir ... just don't use the compress jiffy disks because it's almost impossible to regulate the moisture content in them. Soak the seed for 12 - 24 hours. Press the seed onto the mix surface or cover very lightly. Seeds need some light to germinate. Keep the humidity high by placing the pot(s) in baggies or some sort of make-shift mini-greenhouse. Depending on how fresh the seed are, germination can take a week to 2 months.
