I had 2 little black Araucana born on the 6th of June and 1 baby Sebright & 1 Araucana born yesterday July 12th
The Sebright is so tiny. The Parents are retired show birds and their baby I got with them is smaller than the parents too. This Sebright baby is 1/2 the size of the bantam Aracauna baby

Sebrights are tiny babies and oh so cute. These pics make me miss Sebright babies. Last time we hatched two, one got eaten by a snake. The one remaiing is a hen we named Shelby.

They are indeed so dogone cute. I only had one sebright hen and she was so cute, but also so ornery. She picked fights with everyone...LOL.
mine are the sweetest things. I guess from being handled so much being shown by previous owners. The baby is eating out of my hand. Ms Peep is my lap chicken and she is letting me handle them. I have them in a cage in the Florida room. I will keep them there 2 to 4 weeks then put them back out side. She is only 6 month old and wasn't sure what kind of mother she would be
Some young mothers are great mothers and some are not so good.
Our Sebrights arn't the tamest things, the roo is very mean so we don't handle the females very much. One female is a little tamer if we can catch her, but they are cautious and a bit skiddish. We had another female that was fairly tame but it got killed by a hawk a couple of years ago. He didn't get his prize, we caught him in the act and scared him away, but he had already killed her. :(
