I need a few ferns; I have Japanese iris from Ensata.com; I don't have the names.
I would like to trade one J. iris (will bloom in 2012) for one fern (can be small.)

mittsy, The J. iris will be white, purple, blue, pink, wine or any combination of white along with one of the first colors. Sorry I can't be
more exact! I have plenty of them to trade= one for one. I could trade
about 7 or 8 for ferns. My area of presently cultivated shade is somewhat limited. I do have a huge area of shade that I will eventually have to tackle.
Your ferns are so beautiful. It would be nice to have at least two varieties like the lady fern and another kind. Whatever you have available will be fine. If you decide to trade, I will select the largest of my seedlings. Some actually come from last year, but I can't tell which.
Okay, I'll dig and photograph and dmail you. Then you can tell me what you have in trade for them.
I have the ostrich fern. I have an abundance of those! Would love to trade for the JI! Can post photo as soon as I find it!

I've dug them and have them soaking in water. Too hot right now, will go out later and take pictures. We're not used to these high prolonged temperatures.
