Me too, I yell so my husband thinks there is a corps in the road! :D We have one by the supermarket and it is the most magical tree ever!!!

I have one too in my yard. It blooms at a great time too, after all the magnolias, fruit trees and acacias are done and at the tail end of California buckeyes but before the crape myrtles get into full swing here. There is a white one too but I have never seen it in bloom. I bought one years ago but left it too long in its 5 gallon can and it slowly died. I have never seen one since for sale. I heard there are some growing in Southern Ca.

If I found one I would sure plant it! I think a huge white head would look so great!

Oh oleanders are in full swing now too.
