Looking for a Baked Bean Recipe

My Grandmother always made the best baked beans. I asked her long before she died how she made them. I was told that you soak the beans overnight and then you add a little of this and a little of that. My Gramma has been gone for 13 years now and I do remember that in addition to soaking the beans overnight, she put salt pork on the top of her baked beans.

I am wondering if anybody has a recipe that is close to this? Please share your recipe if you do.....
