I ordered the following from Scheepers Bulbs. I was thinking I could split the order in half and pay half, priority mail you the other half for the other half of the cost. Did ya catch all that, what a mouthful!
So if anyone wants to do this, you would get 5 of each and the cost would be $34 plus $10 for Priority shipping. I will send them out asap after I get them (like the next day). You can mail me a money order or pay with pay pal. Maybe the middle of Aug? I think they said they would ship them the first week or so of Sept.
10 8011 $ 9.75 NARC ALBUS PLENUS ODORATUS
10 8044 $ 19.50 NARCISSUS BILLY GRAHAM
10 8121 $ 12.75 NARCISSUS FAITH
10 8405 $ 13.50 NARCISSUS PRECOCIOUS
10 8408 $ 12.00 NARCISSUS PROFESSOR EINSTEIN
Would anyone like to split my order?
FlrillyLilly, do you know if they do good in my zone? I will try and go look. If so I might be interested.
Well, I saw that Prof. Einstein is hardy to zone 7. Don't know about the others.
I have no idea, best thing would be to call them. I don't know about your climate there were you are. I do know some things do not do well farther south, or north depending on what it is.
Here is their number.

Wish they were irises! LOL! :)
well iris are nice too, but these should bloom before the iris. Then iris and peonies, then daylilies, and a little later the crepe myrtles, mums and asters. Of course there is fall leaf color too when the trees change. There! You have color most of the year! At least that is my plan!
yep! That has been my plan, too and so far so good!
Deb
YOU could have all those lovely spring bulbs listed above for just half price! That's right, half price!!
Hurry! offer ends in 5 mins and you WON'T get another offer as good as this until... 6 mins!
Am I hired?
I wish Frilly. That's what I'm striving for is continuous color. I hope to add to my Amaryllis list this year also. Do you love roses. I want Roses, Roses, Roses. But, no more hybrid teas. Only the Old Garden Varieties and more tried and true types.
I don't have any roses. Too thorny, pain to prune
Plus all I ever had I killed in a fast hurry :(
OH, Frilly, that's why you need the Old Garden Variety. And guess what? There are some that are nearly thornless. I am all about the ones that need no care, no pruning, no fertilizing, no nothing. That's what I'm talkin' about. Forget all the fussy hybrid teas and such. Not my cup of tea. I like to plant and forget. Let them do all the work.
I tried some climbing roses and killed those too. Tea roses I dont' think are very hardy in colder areas. I gave up on those too. I had some mini roses, but the thorns were just awful and the leaves would blow every fall and stick in them really bad. Couldn't clean those out of them.
I know you are not Rose impossible, but if you insist. JK.
:)
I do insist. I really don't have room for them anyway, they do get pretty good sized.
Still looking for someone to split my order !
Bumping this up !
