Why is my hen acting like a rooster?I`ve seen her mount and pull on the head feathers of some of the other hens,why is she doing this,they have been togather for a couple years and she never done that before.

Fairly often, with hens that don't have a rooster around, the most dominent hen will act like a rooster in some ways. Two of my Dutch Bantams started crowing this spring...although right now they are busy brooding eggs.
No rooster,have had a few in the past but they are so hard on the hens,if I could find one that was like my silkie rooster I would have one.I think I might have a BO rooster in my mix of pullets.
