I was thinking in a big tub that could be brought inside when it is cold. Dwarf Cavendish Banana is the type.

my brother grew a few varieties of banana in his back yard southward towards Mansfield, die back EVERY winter. gets heavy toting that tub, and it needs sunlite, winter indoors it doesnt weather well.
my neighbor behind me grew them and they came back after the winter and spread
he gave me one and i did not like the plant--i wasn't into gardening at the time and it just was kind of messy looking and didn't look that healthy--but like i said i wasn't gardening then so i think i thought you just planted it and forgot it!
