I didn't want to hijack the other Tacca thread so...I see on ebay that there are Tacca Leo. tubers for sale from Thailand. I have always shied away from ordering from out of the country. What are your experiences ordering plants from overseas, be it ebay or other online nurseries?

I wanted the same ones :( I'm a bit worried about ordering from Thailand, it seems like it would take forever and get confiscated!
Someone on DG from the US got Amorphophallus tubers from Thailand and was happy with the results. She said they were held a long time by US quarantine though.
I have in the past purchased plants from ebay sellers overseas (Aroids) and have been extremely happy. One seller on ebay that I can highly recommend is mda1515 which is probably not far from you and he does sell tacca plants from time to time. His plants are alway's extremely healthy and quite large. I have only experienced one mis-labeled plant from him in the past. It was a Philodendron and Steve Lucas corrected me on that.
