My Pollen Bag

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Here is a pic of my pollen bag that I made to protect the flower and the pollen. I was asked to show a picture of it by someone who couldn't figure out what mine look like...I also have a pocket sleeve to slide a plant marker in that I write on to tell me the name of the brug flower inside the bag in case it falls off..It is 22 inches long X 12 inches round and drawstring at the top. I also tie the bag to a limb so it won't fall to the ground. It will just hang there until I come get it..

She is up to 3 blooms to save for pollen...The bags held up against all this rain we have been having here....

Look at the Dollar Tree in the bridal-gift section. Think they were 3 or 6 for $1.00...depending on the size.

Are they about 15 or more inches long? some of those bags are not long enough. I had a 22 inch Super Nova bloomed on me and I had to make a bag that long. And bottom of the bags are 10 inches across so it doesn't smushed the bloom.
