What is this Butterfly on my coneflowers

Hope someone will answer this ,my first time on this forum ..It was suggested by nanny_56 so if we get an answer you can be sure you are going to be swamped by request from all of us over at the coneflower forum Thanks Joe

hey grits i am very new myself i think that you have a Silvery Checkerspot (Chlosyne n. nycteis) i hope someone that knows more will answer your question. wonderful shot.

I think it's probably a Pearl Crescent but you should have a look. I'm not so good at IDing either.

The abdomen is very short and has some markings common to the fritillaries the marks on the back are very similar to the Greater Fritillaries but it is not near big enough maybe I need to look at another shot of the same BF
