I hatched out a silkie chick in my incubator about 30 hours ago and it still is falling over a lot and has very little balance is this normal?
How long before chick is steady on its feet?

What surface do you have it on? Are its legs underneath it, or does one go out to the side?
Its on paper towels,yes its legs are underneath it.Hopefully another day will make a difference
Another day should make a major difference. All chicks are not born equal. Some are just much quicker than other at lots of things. Your chick sounds fine, and I think you will see a big difference in another twelve hours or so...Hay
