My husband had the big doors on our metal shop/garage open today and a Downy WP flew in and can't figure out how to get out. There are skylights in there, so it's very confused. I tried herding it out with a broom with no luck. I finally had to close everything up for the night. I left the lights on and put out some suet and water. The only thing I can think of if it doesn't fly out tomorrrow when I open the shop up is to try to capure it with a net. This will be difficult, because the ceilings are about 15 ft high.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I would appreciate any advice.
Help getting woodpecker out of my garage.
I would re-open the door's in the am...with lights off and the entrance clear and no people...he may give it a try..i would leave water outside the entrance also. Good Luck!
