What would be causing my oleander tree's leaves to be turning yellow and dropping? It is blooming like crazy. Could it be too much water?

Probably. We have had non-stop rain for days now, and our Oleanders are dropping leaves like mad. Cover the pot and don't let it get any more water until the top inch of soil dries out.
We have had no rain here either.....I think I need to cover the pot from me!! I am over watering it sounds like....I was afraid it was my fault. :( It has been so hot and dry I have watered and watered. I will lay off the oleander. Thanks for the info.
