refrigerating Daffodils and other bulbs

Hola, not one of my Daffodils had a bloom this past Spring. Lots of greenery and no flowers. Lots of bulb growth and new baby bulbs formed, but no flowers. I have heard about refrigerating bulbs in order to let them go dormant. Does this work? Does any one know how to go about this process? Thanks for any help. Xuling

thanks tommyr2006 for the links. now it is beginning to seem like too much trouble. maybe they sautee well in some quality olive oil? Xuling
