At the top, a common crow. At the bottom, a red-tailed hawk. The other 2 birds are our resident breeding American kestrel pair. This was a four-way melee dogfight that went on for an astounding length of time. I got 10 shots cropped out, so let me know if you'd like to see others from the series!
Wow, the most I've had here have been a "three" way". How exciting for you to watch.
I'd never seen a four-bird mobbing melee before, nor a mobbing that involved more than 2 species, so I'm still pretty jazzed!
