CLOSED: Help please

I was thinking this was a juvenile but a juvie what. I am not very knowledgeable about the birds but trying to learn. The color is true. Kinda olive green. It did not seem to have any markings except those on the breast.

PS Duckmother I know you could probably id this but I thought I would put it here since it is 2:22 in the morn.

These are the only shots I could get taken yesterday about 20 ft up in a dead tree. There was a bluebird nest in that tree but I have had several different squatters on those limbs.

Hmmmm...well, at first I thought maybe a flycatcher...but the more I looked a photo...maybe a female or juvie tanager...well, maybe not ;o) Someone with more juvie experience will chime in shortly. Sorry that I cannot be more help.

Tricky one! The bill looks finch-like, wrong shape (too conical) for a tanager. There's always the possibility of an escaped cagebird, of course. Keep an eye out in case it hangs around.

Thank you very much Kim and Resin. I had searched a lot of pictures and it did not fit anything. I will keep watch to see if it returns. Where I live I see strange things every one in awhile.

Couldn't come with anything...agree that it is a type of finch.
