Are these seeds? They are hard.
Looks like Billbergia brazilensis (but could be B. vittata too). Yes, those are seed pods. When they are fairly dry (by now probably) you can open them and squeeze out the seeds from the gooey inards, wash them off (I use a collander), and dry them. They are pretty easy to grow from seed. Very spectacular in bloom but they don't last long.

Yes it was, beautiful bloom. Do you know how long it will take to germinate? Just plant them in potting soil or perlite or combo? Thanks
Mix isn't critical - I use 1/3 vermiculite, perlite, peat moss but anything that retains retains some moisture yet remains airy will be fine

Finally,5 months later, they dried and I took them off the mother plant. I am going to try to sow them soon.
