This is Xena's second night. I like the color contrast between the ribs and the rest of the corolla. Not too crazy about the recurved skirt though, but I guess one can't have everything. I'm always curious about a Brug's ancestry and rely heavily on the following sources for that information:
http://www.abads.org/abads/Registry/namelist/
This cultivar name list used to have photos of many of the cultivar linked to it, but those disappeared when ABADS bit the dust. The Registry name list is still up, but I don't know for how long. This list was made using a spreadsheet application. To make sure I don't lose the information, I went to the File Menu Bar and scrolled down to "Save Page As" and saved the namelist in the "All Files" format. Then I opened Excel, opened the namelist file and saved it as an Excel file.
Brugmansia Growers International took over the responsibility of registering Brugs. Their name list (Family Tree Database) has photos associated with it, but unless you are a member, you can't see it. I'd provide a link to the Database, but you'd get a curt message.
IBrugs.com has a cultivar name list as well. I hope they add photos soon.

I mention all this because I like to go back 2 or 3 generations to see what cultivars were involved in producing the Brug I have. When I looked up Xena I noticed that Rosabella is the pollen parent. There is no Rosabella listed in any of the 3 Brug name lists. There is a Rosabelle listed. Could it be a spelling error even here?
Blooms and more
Very lovely could it be Rosella
Just a few to many letters in your spelling.. I have lots of Rosella
i have it also as dark Rosella..
And double dark Rosella.. as a parent in crosses...it seems to be a popular Europen parent
Good saving instructional I know i should ssave the lists...as soon as I figure out where the index left side control is so I can write to Dave's... ..
You are going to love KSS, she will bloom all Summer long. Joan from Tyler grew her from seeds from Brenda Delph and named her after her GD.
Gordon, it's not my spelling. I got that exact spelling from both cultivar lists. Susie French is listed as the hybridizer and Mary Usina as the seedling parent. Susie (Callalily) hasn't posted on DG's Brugmansia Forum for years. More recently she was posting on the Vegetable Forum.
I just sent her a D-mail. I hope she remembers.
Ken, I'll have to make time to take a peek at her today to see how much she has colored. She has several other buds on her already and in need of a larger pot. LOL,
Veronica
your Brugs are Georgeous, Congradulations on having Blooms
Elizabeth
I agree with Elizabeth, Veronica they are simply gorgeous.
It is so nice to have brugs blooming right now.
I love the colour and form on KSS, very sweet.
