As I moved plants from my old house to my new home, I noticed that I lost quite a few during the freeze this winter. I would be happy to pay postage for any of these plants:
bird of paradise
cannas (especially the one with black leaves)
any type of ginger
any type of banana
wisteria starts (runners that have rooted; mine were just too large to move)
red oleander
white oleander
elephant ears (have the invasive kind already)
I don't have much to trade, but I do have some un-named daylilies, some plumeria seedling, some un-named bearded iris, and I will check to see what else I may have.
Thanks so much, julie
CLOSED: Wanted for postage please
Hey Julie, I have some of the plants requested, what color are your daylilies & iris? I would be interested in trading. dmail me, Donna
i have three canna.looking for iris and lilly
Well, I can't really say what color the daylilies and iris are. When my neices and their boyfriends helped me dig them to move to my new place, they did not worry about keeping the tags with the plants. They are not the "orange ditch" daylilies that some people hate (I love orange and had them in a bed that has not been touched yet). Thanks, julie
I can mail a burgandy verigated tropicanna & Blk Australis canna for bearded irisis. dmail if interested. Donna
Hi Julie,
Are caladiums hardy for you? When I tear down my pots at the end of the year I will have some caladiums and tuberoses I can send. I hate to overwinter them. But I don't know if they are hardy there or not.
Thanks for all who so generously offered plants. I have someone sending me two boxes for postage. You are all great! love, julie
Julie, please still let me know if the caladiums are hardy for you there. I won't charge for postage, I would just like them to keep going.
