Oh thanks to everyone. i had a wonderful day at the state av show here at the botanical gardens. wonderful * of course got a few newbies,like
av butterfly wings,petrocosmeia rosemary platz, pet lexi ,keystone bantam,strep country girl. red hot mama. av sugar cookie & a tilanzia form the bromilaid soc.they had a show also.So as you can see i had a great day.

I separated Barbata yesterday and potted up the 6 little ones in individual pots. It was alot of fun :)

There are not any shows around here. I have to go to florida for show/sales..so that does not happen often. I have such bad luck with ordering online or thru the mail....I really prefer to see the plants I'm interested in buying. Also seeing show plants is really nice to see how they look when they are grown well. There is a small gesneriad club that meets every 3 months,...its meeting today - one of the ladies sells and goes to shows and conventions so there is a nice surprise every now and then.
