Beavertail Cactus (Opuntia basilaris)
Hi, I think this individual is a hybrid between O. basilaris and probably O. macrocentra. It is common in s. Arizona gardens (and elsewhere). There are a few hybrids that look like this, some with O. santa-rita are more upright with larger rounder pads. The flower color and overall appearance are what make me think this is the hybrid. If so, it will have fleshy fruits that turn somewhat pinkish/purplis.
