Beautiful bloom! I am in Central Alabama ... my dogwoods have long since finished blooming. I a pink dogwood - planted in fall of 2007. It bloomed well in 2008 and in 2009. This spring I had TWO blooms on it. They were beautiful, but TWO?? The tree has grown and filled out quickly, just was really puzzled at the severely reduced blooming this spring.
Beautiful! I love dogwoods, but I am one of those weird people who are allergic to them. Stings like bees.
