we are cooking out but of course we are eating in!
bill wanted dogs and burgers and so that's on our menu but also fresh fruit, baked beans, chips etc
i cut up a fresh pineapple and saved the top-it is sitting in a shallow dish of water--am i right that it should grow? it seems like i remember that from waaaaaaay back but now it seems strange-where would the roots grow?

As soon as it grows roots plant it shallow in some soil and keep moist. Of course it is a tropical and will not stand frost. If you can keep it inside in very bright light you will have a pineapple next year.
