What a stunning blue. I've tried to grow this plant with not very good success. Might have to give it another whirl.

We just got back from visiting Scotland. We saw lots of these blooming. Lovely.

While I'm not really enamoured of that shade of blue, I decided to try to grow it from seed after spotting the seed package while visiting Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island during a recent visit. The seeds have germinated so the adventure begins. I have a lot of rhododendrons (near the woods) in my garden so I should manage a spot where they can grow. How to keep the slugs/snails at bay is the real problem.

I think your photograph is great!!!
