to those who got coneflower seedlings from me

Wells, TX(Zone 8b)

mine are finally blooming and while one of them is a true white swan the other is a pale pinky purple so Im not sure what you got cause I what I gave away were self seeded seedlings.. Im betting they will be the pinky purple color cause they were the closest to it but Im not positive..and while they were tagged white swan at the nursery I have no idea what variety they are... I just wanted to give you a heads up so you arent disappointed...

I've never gotten a coneflower that was the color labeled, anywhere! Luckily I like a mix. Mine come back each year in a large pot but cdon't seem to multiply. I should probably put them in the ground.

I have the magnus that bloomed for the first time this year, a ruby star, which is a med sorta violet pinky color, thats doing great with lots of blooms along with 2 true white swans and my unknown.. all are doing well so far.. I tried some of the big sky series and they were a bust along with Kims knee high which didnt make it. After II lost them I found out the big sky series was didnt do well for a lot of people. I like rubecki and coneflowers cause they can take the heat ...well most of them can...lol.

I like tough, loyal flowering plants too which is why I'm concentrating on natives, and perennials, and those things that came back after the freezes.
