Found last night in rural Georgia. Can you help identify?
Unknown Fledging
Not real sure but maybe a Red-tailed Hawk fledgling.
Is it injured, or in danger from a predator? Just wondering why it was collected rather than left for parents to tend.
Update: The folks who found it took it to the Auburn University Raptor Center where it is undergoing rehab. Identified as a Red Shouldered Hawk.

I'm happy to hear they found a center to assist the bird.
That is good news!
That is really good to hear that it got to qualified people who can care for it!
