I'm interested in clumping bamboo, and Hedge bamboo (Bambusa multiplex) is being marketed here. It's supposed to be cold hardy to zone 8b. Just wondering if has anybody successfully grown this in zone 8a. It took lots of impulse control, but I didn't buy it - yet.
